Metode Penulisan Daftar Pustaka berdasarkan standar IEEE

Kata referensi berasal dari inggris reference dan merupakan kata kerja to refer yang artinya menunjukan kepada. Dalam sebuah karya ilmiah, penulis akan membutuhkan sumber-sumber literatur yang akan dijadikan referensi. Setiap kutipan yang berasal dari karya atau tulisan orang lain, harus dicantumkan referensi yang digunakan sehingga tidak disebut sebagai plagiat. Pada begian terakhir karya ilmiah harus dicantumkan seluruh daftar pustaka sumber yang digunakan sebagai referensi.Terdapat beberapa standar yang biasa digunakan dalam penulisan daftar pustaka. Salah satu standar yang umum digunakan adalah standar IEEE.

Referensi dari Periodical
Untuk pengiriman artikel yang belum diterima untuk publikasi, menggunakan frase "dikirimkan untuk publikasi" di tempat tanggal. Jika telah diterima, namun belum dipublikasikan, menggunakan "yang akan diterbitkan" di tempat tanggal. Perhatikan bahwa jumlah periodical adalah opsional ketika bulan publikasi diberikan.
